Reading time 2 minutes 2 sec No Skimming

Americans spend more time on the internet than any other social activity.

No wonder why we don't have any time for anything else.

If you write down ten things you want to do today consider yourself lucky if you manage to get even one of them done.

Well, let's make sense of it all. It doesn't matter whether you live in China or Alaskawhether you work in a rice paddy field or a banker working on Wall Street, We've all got just 24 hours.

I don't think anyone would disagree with that fact.   Trying to buy, steal or negotiate more hours is simply impossible. Once the time is spent, it's gone forever.

We all get the same ration; twenty-four hours. That's all the time the UNIVERSE has dispensed for us each day.  It was set forth from the foundation of the world, and there is nothing you can do about it. We were locked in a pickle jar and didn't know it.

Who said we had to work eight hours a day and sleep eight hours?  Now what you do with those twenty-four hours make all the difference between success and failure; between happiness and unhappiness.

Success, no matter how you define it, boils down to simple math. How efficient are you with the hours you have left over every day?  Here's how the majority of the hours stack up.

Sleep Hours                        8

Work Hours                         8

Get Dressed                        1

Rush Hour/traffic                 3

Bedtime                              1

Total                                  21 hours

Leftover                              3 hours

No matter how you slice it or dice it, you have a MAXIMUM of 3 hours left over.

That's why you feel like you never have enough time to do anything!

Most people will use the 3 hours with their kids, and helping them with their homework. Cooking, working out, school activities, paying bills, personal care, wash clothes, nails, haircut, grocery shopping, the list is endless!

So where is the time to spend with your significant other?  It's included in your bed time. Now very few people will spend  their 3 hours reading a book, developing a new skill, or working on an opportunity to change their lives.

Maybe that's why 1% of the population controls half the world's wealth - because they use their time more efficiently.  Instead, the average person squanders away precious hours on time-consuming activities. How much are your precious 3 hours are spending on just these activities? Social Media, Email, Texting, and meaningless telephone conversations, and television.

No wonder our lives are so stressful and ridden with personal, professional, and marital problems. It all stems from having ZERO time.

If you want to master a new trade or take advantage of an income opportunity, you must spend your 3 hours wisely.

It takes 10,000 hours before you can master a new trade and become proficient.

For most people with a maximum of 3 hours to work with, by the time they reach 60 years old, the only 10,000 hours they logged in, was driving in rush hour traffic.  Now that may sound harsh and even cruel, but it's reality.

If you want to get ahead, then find a way to get more out of those 3 hours you have left over.  Make sure not to spend them on meaningless, conversations. People who control your time, control you!
