All You Need is Talent & Hard Work

No. No. That's bullshit! It's takes more than talent and hard work. Where is the element of luck--you know that lucky break, you're not telling anyone about?  You want everyone to believe it was your hard work and talent that made you famous.

I know a lot of people who have talent and worked hard and never made it big.  So in my quest to find the answer to what makes things go viral, I decided to delve deep into the success of  some authors who became famous seemingly overnight.

I spent hours on their website reading one blog after another, searching for clues to how they did it.  My first stop was Amanda Hocking's blog titled, Epic Tale How it all happened.

After several years of struggling with no sales, no fans, no author's platform, and rejected by every publishing house in the country, one day Amanda Hocking's winter turned into a sun
shiny day.  She sold 106,000 e-books from April 2010 to December 2010 and a new life began.

Come with me and enjoy the excitement as she describes how it happened.

Now I don't know about you, but I rather take my chances with 100,000+ followers than zero. You have a better chance for the tipping point when things change.
