Mom's 100 Year Old BBQ Sauce Recipe

by M. Le' Mont

I knew I was in trouble when the girl asked, "Would you like
BBQ sauce?" Unless she was using my Mom's special marinated
sauce, how could you sell ribs without BBQ Sauce?  But it didn't
surprise me.  I've traveled the country and visited over 1,000
restaurants looking for the best BBQ, and nearly every time
I've walked away disappointed.

If you're ready to be the talk of the town for cooking the best BBQ then this is your lucky day. I'm going to give you Mom' s homemade BBQ Sauce Recipe that's been in our family for more than 100 years.

This Homemade BBQ Sauce will have your family and friends begging for more.

Now what makes a good BBQ  is not just the sauce, the ribs must be tender and tasty with a touch of charcoal flavor.

Then the ribs should be marinated in a light sauce, to keep the meat juicy. My Mom's Secret BBQ Recipe marinates the ribs that will make your taste buds cry out HOLY SMOKE this is DELICIOUS!

You can buy the ingredients at any major food chain:
HEB, and Kroger's.  Make sure to follow the steps to the letter.
The BBQ sauce is delicious on grilled pork chops, chicken, sausage, hot links, hot dogs, and even grilled turkey necks.

                    Ingredients for BBQ Sauce

1 lb. Kraft Original BBQ Sauce

1 Louisiana Hot Sauce

3/4 cup white granulated sugar

                                  Mixing It Together

1. Pour BBQ sauce into large mixing bowl.

2. Pour the 3/4 cup of sugar in the middle of the BBQ sauce, forming a white hill.

3. Then pour the Louisiana Hot Sauce on top of the white hill until it is completely red.  Do not use the whole bottle.

4.  Mix will until sugar is dissolved.   Um! delicious. Sweet and Tangy.

                 Ingredients for Marinated Sauce

1 lb. Kraft Zest Italian Dressing

Lawry's Seasoned Pepper

                      Steps to Marinate

1.  Take a fork and poke holes in the meat

2.  Pour Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing over meat

3.  Sprinkle Lawrys Season Pepper over meat

4.  Marinate over night or at least 2 hours

5.  Slow cook on grill without BBQ Sauce

6.  Add more Zest Sauce as needed on grill to keep meat tender.

               Bring it all together

1.  Remove meat from grill.

2.  Pour BBQ sauce over meat. I personally dip each piece in the BBQ Sauce one rib at a time.

3.  Eat till you drop!

If the sauce is everything I said it is, then make a comment on Twitter, my mom if she was still living would appreciate it.
